Ruins of old cement factory «Spartak» that was opened in 1913 and had great meaning to the Soviet economy of that period. Spartak was built as a huge industrial facility, ready to produce thousands of tons of cement daily. Its cement was used for construction of the Kashira heating and power station, most of Moscow metro stations, numerous dams throughout the Ryazan and Moscow regions and formed the basis of numerous sports facilities during the Olympics in Moscow. Bankrupted in 1997.
